GARY A. FORSTER is the managing partner in the law firm of Forster Boughman & Lefkowitz located in Orlando, Florida. He is an attorney practicing domestic and international asset protection, business, tax and estate planning law. Mr. Forster handles a variety of corporate and personal planning matters. His broad experience in domestic and international legal issues enables him to counsel businesses and individual clients regarding matters ranging from LLC and trust structuring to corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning. Mr. Forster is the author of Asset Protection for Professionals, Entrepreneurs & Investors, a guide to asset protection strategies for clients and their financial advisors. He writes and lectures frequently on the topics of asset protection, international tax and corporate law. In 2016 Gary finished the first edition of The U.S. Estate and Gift Tax and the Non-Citizen. This book explains how resident and non-resident foreign nationals are impacted by the U.S. Estate and Gift Tax. Mr. Forster has designed and drafted hundreds of corporate documents and asset protection plans. Most recently, his suggested amendments were adopted as Section 43A of the new Nevis LLC Ordinance (Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015). Mr. Forster is a member of The Florida Bar, including bar sections for international and tax law; and the District of Columbia Bar, including bar sections for international and tax law. Mr. Forster is licensed to practice in the U.S. Tax Court and is a member of the American Bar Association Asset Protection Planning Committee. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Tufts University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Forster continued his studies as a graduate fellow at the University of Florida Masters of Taxation program, earning an L.L.M. degree.

ERIC C. BOUGHMAN is a commercial litigation attorney whose practice encompasses a wide range of business disputes, corporate governance matters, internet, software, and technology issues, real estate matters, and asset protection. Eric also manages the firm’s expansive multi-state and international asset recovery and defense practice. Eric has broad analytical experience regarding the pursuit and retention of tangible and digital assets. He has represented clients ranging from multinational corporations to local business owners in all phases of the legal dispute process, including mediation, arbitration, administrative tax and licensing proceedings, trials, and appeals. Eric has also served as general counsel to an off-shore technology company and regularly counsels tech companies, both foreign and domestic. In recent years, he has become deeply involved in issues dealing with internet licensing and copyright concerns, software and cloud-based systems, internet defamation, and other technical issues that affect clients doing business in cyberspace. Eric has been admitted to practice law in Florida and Nevada, as well as in the U.S. Tax Court, and pro hac vice for matters in other U.S. States. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange and Seminole County bar associations, and the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys Council. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. Eric volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem with the Orange County Legal Aid Society. He is rated AV – Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and regularly publishes articles and makes presentations in the areas of asset protection, real estate, and technology, including cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and legal issues involving artificial intelligence.
