In this seminar, we discuss recent federal efforts to ban non-compete agreements and the FTC’s proposed rule on non-competes. Attendees will learn about the proposed rule, exceptions, and potential carve-outs. We also discuss alternatives to non-compete agreements, such as non-solicitation clauses, garden leave provisions, and other mechanisms companies can use to protect certain business interests.
