MORE ABOUT THOMAS C SHAW Thom received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History cum laude from Oral Roberts University. Mr. Shaw received a Juris Doctor (Law Degree) with honors from the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Shaw was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986, and is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates Law. From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Shaw served as General Counsel to an estate and financial planning company. He is a member of the Taxation Section and the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and a member of the Central Florida Estate Planning Council. Mr. Shaw practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, trusts, corporate and business law, and probate.

Orlando, FL – On May 27, 2015, the Nevis Island Assembly passed much needed protections to its Nevis LLC Ordinance. Gary A. Forster, Managing Partner at the law firm of Forster Boughman & Lefkowitz (www.fbl-law.com) says that for years his firm has used the legal protections offered by this small Caribbean nation as part of its international practice. Mr. Forster also recognized deficiencies in the prior law (Nevis LLC Ordinance of 1995). Mr. Forster presented his concerns to a contact in Nevis, was asked to draft suggested amendments, and his amendments have been adopted in the new Nevis LLC law.
