Eric continues his series on building a healthcare practice with his seminar: "Building a Healthcare Practice in Florida: Network & Payer Readiness (Credentialing, Contracting & Getting Paid)" via Live National Webinar

Oct 19 2026
Building a Healthcare Practice in Florida: Part IV | Network & Payer Readiness Credentialing, Contracting & Getting Paid
In this seminar, Eric discusses how a Florida healthcare practice gets paid, from provider enrollment and credentialing through payer contracting, reimbursement, audits, and appeals. Attendees will learn the legal and regulatory consequences of enrollment errors, what payer contracts actually commit the practice to, how fee schedules and unilateral amendment rights can affect the economics after signing, and why reimbursement differs for nurse practitioners and physician assistants. We also explore payer recoupment authority, overpayment rules, how far recoupment can reach, and the short deadlines practices face when responding to a demand. Designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners pursuing autonomous practice, medical directors, and healthcare entrepreneurs.
